How do I apply for a Short Breaks Personal Budget?
You can apply online using our online application portal. You will first need to create a new account.
Once you have created your account, you can log in and manage your account.
You may also find our application guidance notes helpful.
You can increase the size of the text in two ways:
- There are three “Capital As” in the top right corner of the portal homescreen – small, medium and large. Selecting one of these will adjust the font size on your screen, or
- By adjusting the font size within your internet browser. In Chrome and Edge this is accessed via the three dots at the top right of the screen and then adjusting the zoom. On iPhones this is accessed via Settings>Accessibility. For Android devices please check with your manufacturer.
If you are unable to access the online portal but have a friend or support worker who could assist you to apply, we would encourage you to explore this in the first instance.
If you do not have any support to help you and are unable to access the form online, please contact us and we will arrange a telephone appointment with you to complete the form.
We are not able to offer a paper version of the form. However, as above, if you are not able to access the internet please contact us and we will arrange a telephone appointment with you to complete the form.
If you are expecting an email from us; please check your junk mail folder. If emails from us are being filed in your Junk folder, please add us to your Safe Senders list.
Emails from the portal may come from a “no-reply” email address. Please do not set these to auto-delete or you may miss important messages about your Short Break Personal Budget.
At the end of the application form there is a text box where you can give us any additional information that you do not feel has been covered earlier in your application.
It is important that you remember your password as you will need it to access your account in future. You should always ensure your passwords are stored securely. Your password must be at least 8 characters including an upper-case letter, a number and a special character.
